I've gain practical experience in animal husbandry through my role as a wildlife rehabilitation clinic assistant at ThinkBat, where I care primarily for bats at all life stages as well as small mammals and owls. I perform tasks like feeding, health monitoring and administering medications as well as cleaning and enclosure maintenance. I also provide emergency care for compromised wildlife. This has experience has taught me to be detailed orientated and patient - skills that I believe are essential with working with any animal in any setting. I also have research experience from my BSc Honours in Zoology where I worked on collecting ecological data on nudibranch diversity.
