AI Evaluation:

Your answer provides some personal context and outlines a few reasons for your choice, but it lacks clarity and coherence, which could detract from the overall impression you want to make. Here’s a breakdown of your response:

1. Structure and Clarity: The introduction is decent, but the transition into why you chose Vassar is awkward. Phrases like "closing at community and lower student faculty" are unclear and could confuse the interviewer. It's essential to be concise and organized.

2. Specificity: You mention a few specific programs, like the URSA project and working with Professor Ben Morin, which is excellent. However, you don't explain how these align with your academic interests or career goals in a compelling way. Providing a brief description of what excites you about these projects would enhance your answer.

3. Grammar and Language: There are a few grammatical errors and awkward phrases, such as “most important reason with made me applied groceries.” Proofreading and practicing clearer language would help convey your thoughts better.

4. Personal Connection: While you mention your interests in research, it would be more impactful to include a personal story or experience that sparked your interest in those areas, creating a stronger connection to why Vassar specifically attracts you.

To improve your answer, consider structuring it clearly: Begin with a personal anecdote, then discuss Vassar’s community and specific programs you’re excited about, and end with a strong statement that reflects your enthusiasm for contributing to and thriving in that environment.
