Can you explain the key principles of engineering design and how they guide your work in GET?
Candidate's Answer:The key principles of engineering design app problem definition clearly define the problem or need identify and requirements and constraints developed innovative solutions analyse and compatible options these principles guide engineering work by ensuring a clear and standing of the problem and requirement encouraging creative and innovative solutions providing is structure of clothes to evaluating and selecting design options faciliating effective communication among team members insurance engineering can develop effective and efficient solutions that meet me means of user and stakeholders
AI Evaluation:Your answer touches on several important principles of engineering design, but it could benefit from better organization, clarity, and depth. Here’s a breakdown of your response:
1. Clarity: The phrasing is somewhat unclear in parts ("app problem definition clearly define"), which may hinder understanding. Aim for clear, concise sentences.
2. Specific Principles: You mention problem definition, requirements identification, innovative solutions, and evaluation of options, which are all relevant. However, these principles could be expanded to include concepts such as iterative design, user-centered design, and sustainability.
3. Connection to GET: While you mention facilitating effective communication, which is important in a team setting, you could strengthen your answer by explicitly connecting these principles to specific work or projects within GET. This would demonstrate how you apply the principles in real-life scenarios.
4. Structure: Consider structuring your answer into distinct sections: define the problem, develop solutions, and evaluate options. This will help the interviewer follow your thought process.
To improve your answer, consider the following approach:
- Start by clearly defining key principles (e.g., understanding user needs, iterative testing, and improvement).
- Explain each principle briefly and how it relates to the design process.
- Provide an example from your work or experience that illustrates the application of these principles in GET.
- Conclude by emphasizing how these principles lead to effective solutions that meet user needs.
Overall, I would rate your answer 3/5. It includes fundamental ideas but needs more clarity, structure, and a stronger connection to your experience.

Describe a project where you had to implement a new technology or tool. What were the challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Candidate's Answer:My project is about Experimental Analysis of FDM processed PLA and rice husk polymer composite where we implemented 3d printing technology as it is more evolving now. The challenges I was faced during my project is I was working as a team leader and my work is to assign the tasks to my team members and ensuring that team members had completed their given assignments to meet the project deadline. I assigned tasks to them but they didnt do their work as expected. I tried adressing the issue many times but they dint lead to a resolution so i then escalated the issue to our guide explaining the situation and seeking for the help to resolve the problem. With my guides intervention the problem was solved and the team members have done their work accordingly and completed the project.my project is about experimental analysis of FDM project pla and rice her polymer composite where we implemented 3D printing Technology as it is more evolving now the challenges I was faced during the project is I was working as a team leader and mine work is to assign the task to my team members and ensuring that team members has completed they given task to me the project that land I sent to them but didn't do they work as expected I tried addressing the issue many times but they didn't like to a resolution so I then escalated be the issue to our guide explaining the situation and seeking for the help to resolving problem with my guided into ancient the problem was solved and the team members have done De walk accordingly and completed the project
AI Evaluation:Your answer addresses the question by describing a project where you implemented a new technology—3D printing—and identifies challenges related to team dynamics and task completion. However, there are several areas for improvement to make your response clearer and more effective.
1. Structure and Clarity: Your response lacks a clear structure. A more organized answer typically follows the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Describe the situation you were in, what task you needed to accomplish, the specific actions you took to address the challenges, and the results of those actions.
2. Specificity: While you mentioned challenges with team members not completing their tasks, it would help to provide more specific details about the technology and its implementation. For instance, what specific aspects of 3D printing posed challenges? Was it software, material, or something else?
3. Resolution Details: You briefly mentioned escalating the issue to your guide, which is good, but elaborating on how this intervention led to resolution would strengthen your answer. What specific solutions or strategies were implemented?
4. Language and Grammar: There are grammatical errors and awkward phrasing throughout your response that detract from its professionalism. It's important to convey your message clearly and succinctly, so proofreading for errors would be beneficial.
5. Personal Reflection: Adding a sentence or two on what you learned from the experience or how it impacted you as a leader could leave a more lasting impression.
Overall, while your response conveys the essence of your experience, enhancing the structure, specificity, and language will make it stronger.
Rating: 3/5
To improve your answer, consider restructuring it using the STAR method, providing more detail about the new technology and specific challenges, and reflecting on your learning experience.
