My experience with data entry and detail-oriented tasks goes a long way back. When I was a focal person for COVID 19, We had to promptly enter patient samples into our lab information management system. Over 300 samples were received daily. I used to help our technical officers with data entry. Whenever we received it, I used to reconfirm it with the prescribed Performa vet the patient details including type of specimen etc. Once that was done, I used to enter with them into our online system. Once it was done, I used to reconfirm it with patient details online. Only when everything was aligned without any discrepancy. I used to enter that into our lab system. This was a frequent and detail-oriented task. I not only thrived in the field but also the lab. I received commendations and accolades for my performance there and I believe crucial practice will help me thrive in the NHS and polish me further.
