Can you describe your experience with web content management and how you've utilized WordPress in your previous roles?
Candidate's Answer:Yeah and my last rule I was in charge of managing our main company's website as well as a few other projects website and all of those were done through WordPress that was my first time really doing it myself for web contact management I guess I just mean as a solo project I also did some web content management during my internship previously but I felt like my last role is where I really you know started to understand the ins and outs of Wordpress during that time I learned how to use of course the classic and Gutenberg editor of Wordpress as well as the Web building plug in Elementor which is what we use to update most of our websites pages but yeah I've I've been doing it for a few years WordPress is the platform I know the best and you know I I think it's great

What strategies do you use when creating and executing email marketing campaigns, and can you provide an example of a successful campaign you've managed?
Candidate's Answer:So my last position and accumax them did not focus so much on repeated email campaigns we mostly did it as a one-time event promotion campaign and then most of our other emails were more personal directly to clients and And discussing projects with them however during that time we focused a lot on including personalization and segmentation into our event promotion just because we were you know looking for a very specific subset of our you know customer base who would be interested in these events for example one of our events was successful planning strategy which of course you know we're going to be targeting some of our older more established clients you know people we know who are looking to hand down the business either to a family member or someone else in the organization so we really you know honed in on that sort of client for that which required a lot of segmentation at the flowery it was consumer facing so there was a lot more room to sort of play with our email campaigns we did monthly newsletters we did you know a shop showcase you know we put a spotlight on a specific florists that sort of thing so we had a lot of different emails going out every month and those were all tailored to kind of fit a certain type of audience you know and get people connected we had a big focus on local florists and on our website which I attached way back link for the business has since shut down but at the time we had Pages for each state with the directory of florist in each state so you know all of the state all the florists in Oklahoma that are are vetted by us as being you know locals sustainable eco-friendly that sort of thing so we would send out a lot of newsletters based on that you know here's a here's a letter he's an email campaign for people in Michigan or here's an email campaign for people in New York who are you know looking for a florist who who works in New York so we did a lot of stuff like that and so you know just kind of having really targeted content that provides value to a initial people was a big strategy for us and that was one of our most successful components of the business

How do you measure the success of digital marketing initiatives, and what key performance indicators (KPIs) do you focus on?
Candidate's Answer:So we did a lot of organic marketing and my last position just because we had a pretty small marketing budget so I really got to learn the ins and outs of what works for organic social media rather than paid but we were really targeting people on LinkedIn and promoting our services there just because the type of clientele we were looking for were other business owners people in the professional realm who were looking for financial advice looking for someone to do their tax planning that sort of thing so our key performance indicators were going to be engagement and you know insights on LinkedInI would say our main kpis for what I was working on would be our Impressions and then overall search engine ranking which I was working on not so much on social media but on our website you know I was working on updating all of our blogs and writing new content that would you know include you know SEO keywords we were trying to Target you know stuff with low volume anyway yeah so I think those are the two most important ones just because we were focusing mainly on organic at that point you know this company is still quite small it's a it's a boutique firm so they didn't have a ton of money for me to play with but it was an interesting exercise just to see you know what you can do with a limited budget but we we ended up getting a huge uptick in impressions in LinkedIn over over the course of the Year while I was working there I think it ended up being like a large increase in Impressions and engagement on our LinkedIn which ended up funneling more customers to us reaching out to us and we set it up a lot of new consultations which was great and then we also found an increase in web traffic after I started working on some of our SEO initiatives on the website which was great too
