I have done 2 conferences in the past and.I've been really focusing in the past year to focus on improvements and what that means is.Collecting feedback and applying it to future years and we did see an overall attendance boost about 100 attendees, which is great.And then in my second.Part of my role.I've been.Delegating as well as creating the content for our.Community trainings and what this is, is we teach the community and anyone who wants to know about their community in Boston about the different data that is available to them.For several reasons.And so from that, a major point of this role is engaging with the community and making sure that we are offering them data that they not only want, but they can use in their everyday lives. The main point that I always like to bring up.As my approach to building relationships with key stakeholders in this community is always emphasizing proactive listening.Making sure that they are aware, no matter the situation, that we are there for them and we are a tool for them to use. And while Northeastern may be in a position that, you know, create some kind of tension within the community, I think it is important to listen more than to speak.And my role?Is always too.Offer tools that can genuinely help, and the only way to do this is to actively listen.And to create these long holding relationships.Consistently showing up to things.Is a great step in building them these relationships and making sure that they are able to see that, you know, we care about them not as something that can help us, but something that we can continue to help them on.
