AI Evaluation:

Your answer illustrates your experience with coordinating across multiple teams, which is relevant in a project management context. However, since the question specifically asked about working with subcontractors, your response might not directly address that focus. Here’s a breakdown of your answer:

1. Relevance: While you discuss experience with cross-functional teams, you don't address subcontractors specifically. This might leave the interviewer wanting more information on how you would manage relationships with subcontractors.

2. Clarity: The explanation could be more structured. It would benefit from clearer delineation of specific strategies you would use to engage with subcontractors, such as regular check-ins, performance reviews, or using project management software.

3. Specific Skills: Highlighting communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and ways to ensure quality control with subcontractors would strengthen your response. You could mention specific tools or methods for tracking progress and alignment with project goals.

4. Connecting to Project Goals: While you emphasized alignment with company goals, you might want to tie this back more specifically to how you would ensure subcontractors understand and meet the objectives of the project.

To improve your answer, consider restructuring it to directly respond to the question about subcontractors, using specific examples from past experiences that illustrate how you would build rapport, monitor progress, and manage any issues with subcontractor work.

Rating: 3/5. You provide clear examples of teamwork, but the lack of focus on subcontractors limits the effectiveness of your response.
