My time in high school I took part of a lot of clubs, specifically black student union. I was part of that clip for I believe 3 1/2 years. So basically majority of my high school years and time there considering.Um, I was affected by COVID my freshman year, but yeah, or else I would have been four years. But for that. We conducted a lot of potlucks, a lot of slide show events where we like brought everyone to the quad and had people participate for snacks or just to share out loud their ideas.What may be our club could do better to represent diversity around the campus and also getting people more involved in creating a much bigger team than what we already had.Um, and also this.Was a very important club we.Would work with, um, you're kind of your guys's version of ASD, but ours was a USB and they would conduct school dances on staff events, They would conduct volleyball games like student versus staff.And.This really taught me to just work with my team on.How to create an environment where students would want to participate and not feel?Kind of shy or ashamed to be like, ohh, I wanna go try that out, you know, because I feel like now, nowadays there's a lot of students that are more closed off and don't really.Feel the wants or like the need to step out of their little bubble. And I feel like as someone who's going to be in this role, I wanna provide that comfort and I guess form to have them break out a little bit and see more connections around campus .I was doing my old one so.Yeah, the outcome was very much happy because These events that I would do, I would see a lot of people connecting and talking amongst each others and you know, working in a team to win whatever they wanted to win or you know, little things like that is it really does make you smile because they're like, oh, I worked really hard and seeing everyone and always bloom out Is really what's the most important.

Position.I would approach a campus wide event by mainly using social media and physical forms of promotion like QR codes around the school. We could put them in different places like the student lounge, the main office, financially because.I know around this town, there's a lot of students around there, you know, having issues with their FAFSA and such. And also here as she because people come here to get their ideas. It's also very common spot and you could even ask teachers to participate to share this news and ASG.Katie, our student activities staff as well.Um, we have an Instagram that we could.Excuse me, we could use to promote, which we already do at a lot of people use that Instagram to keep up and also posting on the main school page. This would also help a lot of students who are still navigating the site and around campus to be like, oh, maybe this is something I wanna go look into. Looks like a lot of students coming in giving their opinions of.What they would want in the student lounge and.Also having current trendy things like I know we already have games, we have books, we have study rooms or study areas that they could occupy to get their work done.Um, also having a respectful.Rule having.A policy set in place, I would say, where students have to be respectful to each other and treat each other the way that they would want to be treated.Umm, I believe that kindness is always.Key you shouldn't put out bad things that you don't want thrown back at yourself. And I strongly abide by that because.I if I wanted to, you know, be in the student lounge, I would want a very respectful area where I could still get things done that are necessary to be done while.You know, relaxing a little bit and being like, OK, I could still have fun in here, but I can balance my.Things that I have to do.
